The Morris Man (Indian And Nepalese Cuisine)
If you're in Stafford and find yourself craving Indian or Nepalese food with a bit of personality, The Morris Man (Indian And Nepalese Cuisine) might just be your new go-to. Tucked away on Alliss Close, Kingston Hill, this spot is more than just your average curry house-it’s a vibrant fusion of bold flavors, generous portions, and a lively atmosphere where the food always takes center stage.
From the moment you step in, there’s a warm, welcoming vibe. Whether you're coming solo for a quick bite, meeting friends for a casual dinner, or settling in to watch a football match with a cold pint, the space feels relaxed and inclusive. And accessibility? Absolutely sorted-with a wheelchair-accessible car park, entrance, seating, and toilet, everyone’s well taken care of here.
Let’s talk about the food. The Ghurkha Chicken is one of those dishes that demands attention-marinated with depth and grilled just right, it’s spicy, aromatic, and rich in character. Craving something a little more adventurous? The King Prawn Vindaloo delivers a fiery kick that doesn’t hold back, balanced out perfectly with a soft, fluffy naan. Then there are the momos-Nepalese dumplings that are bite-sized pockets of joy, often served with a punchy dipping sauce that makes you wish you'd ordered double.
The menu isn’t afraid to go big, either. The Extra Large Mixed Grill Platter is exactly what it sounds like-a sizzling mountain of meats that’s a meat lover’s dream. Perfect for sharing, or for those who just want it all. If you're after something lighter but still full of flavor, the Chicken Pokara or Prawn Noodles might be your best bet.
One thing that really sets The Morris Man apart is its ability to blend comfort food with exciting spice combinations. You’ve got classics like Chicken Biryani, Chicken Korma, and Chicken Curry, but you’ll also find unique sides like Jalfrezi Chilli Chips Nan Bread-a fusion twist that somehow works really, really well.
Drinks? They've got a solid selection to match the menu. From draft beer and wine, to a cheeky spirit or a casual coffee, they’ve got you covered whether you’re winding down or gearing up for the night. And for those with a sweet tooth, the desserts are worth saving room for. One standout? Their house-made sweet plates that pair beautifully with a coffee, creating a mellow ending to a spicy, satisfying meal.
Another bonus here is the versatility. Whether you’re dining in, ordering a takeaway, or getting food delivered straight to your door, the service is consistently reliable. If you prefer open air, there’s outdoor seating too-perfect for a sunny lunch with a chilled drink in hand.
The Morris Man is the kind of place that effortlessly combines hearty portions with refined spices, making it a standout in Stafford’s dining scene. It's not just about satisfying hunger-it's about bringing people together over food that has soul. If you're someone who appreciates a mix of bold and traditional, all served up in a friendly, down-to-earth setting, this one's worth bookmarking.

We've just got back from an early weekday meal. The service was on point, the food was fresh, so good! We opted for the Indian flavour and it did not disappoint. I've eaten here multiple times. It's great food, service and fair price. We'll be back soon. Thank you
